This article analyzes the essence, forms of manifestation, and social consequences of legal nihilism in the process of building a democratic rule-of-law state. Legal nihilism is examined as a deformed form of social consciousness, and its subjective (ideological-psychological) and objective (behavioral) aspects are explored. The study substantiates the need to develop and implement comprehensive mechanisms for overcoming legal nihilism, particularly through enhancing legal culture, strengthening the rule of law, and ensuring the consistent implementation of legal reforms.
